Installation of the PEL Transfer software

  1. Download the file PEL_Transfer.exe
  2. Execute the file
  3. In the "Ready to start installation"window, click on "Install"

Installation of the drivers may take some time. Windows may even indicate that the program has stopped replying, although it actually continues to function. Wait for it to finish.

  1. When installation is complete, a dialogue box indicating "Installation successful" is displayed
  2. Click on"OK"
  3. The window "InstallShield Wizard terminated" is displayed.
  4. Click on "Finish".
  5. A "Question" dialogue box is opened to read the procedure for connecting the instrument to the computer's USB port.
  6. Click on "No"
  7. If necessary, reboot the computer.

A shortcut to PEL Transfer has been added to your desktop during the installation procedure
You can now open PEL Transfer and connect to the power logger accessible in demonstration mode.

Connection to the PEL 102 logger

  1. Double-click on the "PEL Transfer" icon on your desktop
  2. The "PEL Transfer" utility is displayed
  3. Click on the little arrow next to the icons to display the toolbar icons
  4. Choose "Add" or "Delete buttons"
  5. Select "Standard toolbar" and then choose the icons to display.

To connect the PEL, proceed as follows:

  1. To connect an instrument, proceed in one of the following ways:
  2. In the "Instrument" menu, select "Add an instrument" or click on the "Add an instrument" icon in the toolbar.
  3. The first dialogue box of the "Add instrument assistant" opens
  4. Select "Ethernet network" as the type of connection
  5. In the "Address" field, enter the IP address: and the port: 80 (UDP)
  6. Click on the "Next" button
  7. If a connection is established correctly, the "Finish" button is activated.
  8. Click on "Finish" to quit the Assistant
  9. The instrument is then added to the PEL Network list

Configuration of the instrument

You are not authorized to configure this instrument, but you can view the settings.

In the menu bar, select "Real-time data" and view the operation of the PEL102 Power and Energy Logger.
